How do I know the candidates are actually passive?

Passive is built and marketed specifically for people who are employed and not actively job searching. Our entire candidate-acquisition channel selects for this audience — the product wouldn't appeal to active seekers in the same way. When you receive an application from a Passive user, you're hearing from someone who chose to act because your role specifically caught their attention. Not someone applying to fifty roles a week.

Does this replace my ATS?

No. We integrate with whatever ATS you're already using — Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, and others. Applications come through to your existing workflow exactly as if the candidate had applied via your careers page. Nothing for your team to relearn.

How many candidates will I actually see?

Honestly, it depends on the role. Highly specific senior roles in narrow geographies will see fewer applications than broad mid-level roles. We don't promise a candidate volume because volume isn't the point — fit is. What we can promise is that every candidate who applies has chosen to engage with your role specifically.

Why $1,000 flat instead of per-hire?

Because per-hire pricing creates the wrong incentives — recruiters who push marginal candidates to close, platforms that flood you with applications to maximize revenue. We charge a subscription because we want you to use the platform when you need it. If you make ten hires through us in a month, that's $100 per hire. If you make zero, you still have access. The math gets better the more you use it.
